Account Executive - Western/Southern Europe

We are seeking an account executive who will close new business in the Western / Southern Europe and help these businesses grow with Solargis. The successful candidate should either work from Bratislava or remotely from another location in Europe. 

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute a plan to grow business from customers in Western / Southern Europe
• Educate and guide prospective customers who are considering Solargis solutions
• Quickly learn Solargis product portfolio and confidently present the value proposition of Solargis services
• Cultivate relationships with customers. Understand complex customer requirements both at technical and business level, and propose meaningful solutions
• Manage an active pipeline of 30-40 sales opportunities
• Work with Sales Director to create a list of prospective customers who are a good fit for Solargis services. Cold outreach to relevant contacts and departments at target customer accounts

REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a sales role
• Technical aptitude to understand customer problems and propose meaningful solutions. A degree in Engineering/Science field or previous experience with solar energy / technical sales would be considered as relevant examples that demonstrates technical aptitude.
• Mature communication skills with capability to present effectively in front of C-level audience
• Excellent English language skills are required. Fluency in at least one other language from Spanish, French, or Italian is also required.
• Experience with B2B SaaS or consultancy services is a great plus
• Innovative thinking, forward looking, team spirit, ambitions for successful delivery
• Understanding global business of Solargis and contributing to maintaining the position of company on the market
• Deep interest in solar energy
• Curious, self-motivated & eager to learn
• EU citizenship or a valid residence permit in Slovakia

Purposes and legal basis for the processing:

We will process and use your personal data only in connection with the processing of your application for employment in our company. Based on the data provided, we will decide on your suitability for the job. The legal basis for such processing of personal data is the adoption of steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (pre-contractual relations) under Art. 6 (1) letter b) of the GDPR. In case your application is successful, the data you have provided can be used during the course of your employment relationship. The legal basis of such processing is the performance of the employment contract under Art. 6 (1) letter b) of the GDPR.

Storage period:

If we cannot offer you employment with our company, we will delete the data you have provided during the application process.

In case you would like your application to be considered also for future vacancies, you have the possibility to grant the consent with the retention of your personal data for the period of two (2) years. If you consent to this, we will contact you if you have the necessary qualifications for another position that is to be occupied during this period. You can revoke the consent at any time by sending an email to jobs@solargis.com. In case of revocation, we will immediately stop processing the respective personal data and delete them, unless there is another legal basis for their further processing. However, any processing performed before the revocation of your consent will remain lawful.

Rights of data subject:

In connection with the processing of your data you have the rights of data subject under Art. 15 et seq. of the GDPR, namely:

• the right of access to personal data (providing a copy of personal data) and the right to information on the terms of processing of personal data within the scope of the Art. 15 of GDPR;
• the right to request the rectification and completion of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
• the right to erasure the personal data for the reasons set out in the Art. 17 of GDPR,
• the right to restrict the processing of personal data in the cases provided for in the Art. 18 of GDPR,
• the right to transfer the personal data to another controller.
