Account Manager for Spain

Our end-to-end solution combines reliable meteorological data, software, and consultancy services, and is transforming how the solar industry evaluates solar projects. Our services are being used by medium and large organizations active in solar renewable energy across the world.

We are looking for an account manager who will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with new and existing customers in the Spain as well as other countries in Europe. You will be part of the sales team and report to the Regional Sales Director. Our team is a multinational team with colleagues based in Bratislava and some working remotely. Our team, as well as the solar energy industry are expanding fast, and there are plenty of growth opportunities.

What you will be doing:

• You will manage relationships with existing customer accounts as well as acquire new customers
• Your focus will be on ensuring high customer satisfaction and helping customers maximize the value they are deriving from our services
• You will be expected to quickly learn the Solargis product offering so that you understand customer requirements both of technical and business nature and propose solutions
• Educate and guide prospective customers who are considering Solargis solutions
• Work with Sales Director to create a list of prospective customers, who are a good fit for Solargis services. You will outreach to relevant contacts and departments at target customer accounts
• Leverage CRM tools to maintain an active pipeline of deals and follow up on timely basis for subscription renewals.

We are looking for people who have:

• Proven experience in a sale, business development or account management role in international environment, minimum 5 years
• Technical aptitude to understand customer problems and propose meaningful solutions. A degree in engineering/science or previous experience in solar energy/technical sales would be considered as relevant examples that demonstrates technical aptitude
• Mature communication skills with capability to present effectively in front of technical, business and C-level audience
• Full proficiency in English and Spanish language, oral and written, is required
• Experience in solar energy, electricity technology, consultancy services or B2B SaaS business is an advantage
• EU citizenship or Slovak working permission

Controller, recipients of data:

Your personal data will be processed by our company Solargis s.r.o., with the registered office at Bottova 2A, 811 09 Bratislava, ID: 45 354 766 in the position of the controller. We send your application for employment and its attachments only to our internal employees and departments responsible for the application process. Your personal data will not be provided or made available to any third party.

Purposes and legal basis for the processing:

We will process and use your personal data only in connection with the processing of your application for employment in our company. Based on the data provided, we will decide on your suitability for the job. The legal basis for such processing of personal data is the adoption of steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (pre-contractual relations) under Art. 6 (1) letter b) of the GDPR. In case your application is successful, the data you have provided can be used during the course of your employment relationship. The legal basis of such processing is the performance of the employment contract under Art. 6 (1) letter b) of the GDPR.

Storage period:

If we cannot offer you employment with our company, we will delete the data you have provided during the application process.

In case you would like your application to be considered also for future vacancies, you have the possibility to grant the consent with the retention of your personal data for the period of two (2) years. If you consent to this, we will contact you if you have the necessary qualifications for another position that is to be occupied during this period. You can revoke the consent at any time by sending an email to jobs@solargis.com. In case of revocation, we will immediately stop processing the respective personal data and delete them, unless there is another legal basis for their further processing. However, any processing performed before the revocation of your consent will remain lawful.

Rights of data subject:

In connection with the processing of your data you have the rights of data subject under Art. 15 et seq. of the GDPR, namely:

• the right of access to personal data (providing a copy of personal data) and the right to information on the terms of processing of personal data within the scope of the Art. 15 of GDPR;
• the right to request the rectification and completion of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
• the right to erasure the personal data for the reasons set out in the Art. 17 of GDPR,
• the right to restrict the processing of personal data in the cases provided for in the Art. 18 of GDPR,
• the right to transfer the personal data to another controller.
