Terms & conditions of data use

Is it okay to share purchased datasets with third party engineers and potential project investors?

As per our standard terms and conditions of data use for single user, data shall be used only by the Customer for his/her personal and/or internal business use. Sharing data with third parties without prior written consent of Solargis is not allowed.

Situations where Solargis would typically grant consent for sharing of data by Customer with a third party include:

  • Project developer needing to share data with their technical advisor
  • Project developer needing to share data with contracted EPC company

In such cases consent is granted on the condition that Customer has responsibility to ensure that the third party with whom data is shared follows terms and conditions of data use and does not further share the data.

When it is required to share the data with several independent third parties, we require a purchase of multiple user or open license. Please contact us if you wish to receive a quotation for a multiple-user or open license to Solargis data.
