Solargis API Typical Meteorological Year (TMY)

Technology

The Solargis API TMY is a REST API based on JSON request and response. Solargis TMY data are generated upon request. The data generation process is not instant which dictates the asynchronous nature of this API.

The process is split into two parts:
1.
Data generation request triggers the TMY data calculation.
2.
Status request enables polling of the API endpoint for status of the request.

Terms

Access to API is based on a one-year subscription. Authentication is based on API tokens registered with the customer. Solargis offers user-less tokens as well as tokens tied to a user.

The Solargis API TMY allows obtaining basic and advanced parameters—there are 2 subscription tiers: Basic and Pro. See tables below for parameter availability.
