Accountant, Bratislava

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out tasks related to the accounting of the company, implementing professional accounting procedures, 
• Working with internal invoicing software and external accounting and auxiliary software, 
• Implementation of digital accounting procedures, 
• Accounting of invoices, bank statements, depreciation, and internal documents,
• Administration of taxes and fees; preparation of documents for VAT tax returns and others,
• Collaboration in the preparation of analysis and reports for internal and external purposes (e.g. statistical office and similar), preparation of a cash-flow statement,
• Collaboration on accounting tasks related to closing accounts, administration of records, long-term asset accounting, internal documents and guidelines,
• Good knowledge of accounting legislation, constantly improving in the area of legislative changes, participating in trainings and courses,
• Cooperation in invoicing and accounting of affiliated companies,
• Working closely with the Chief Accountant and Head of business operations.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education in accounting, finance, or related field,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting,
• Knowledge of working with “POHODA” accounting software or experience with other accounting software, 
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and generally MS Office,
• Ability to work in a team but also independently,
• Sufficient level of written English, spoken English appreciated,
• Candidate for this position should be Slovak resident 
• Starting date: As soon as possible.
